Hosting

Hosting is a very very important factor for website loading speed. We had trouble initially regarding hosting and within first year we changed 3 hosting companies, now running on Vultr hosting with cloudways. Though cloudways hosting plans are double of Vultr’s own website plan pricing, but cloudways offers easy to use interface to manage WordPress, PHP website which helps maintain the website smoothly and Vultr is a very powerful server company, their pricing and servers are one of the best you can get. Total value for money. 

Cloudways has aws, google cloud, digitalocean, Linode, and they are very easy to deploy. Their customer support is not good and can not provide solutions like Fast Comet hosting we used before, therefore it is up to Dakhm team when any error occurs.

Vultr server is pretty good when running a basic WordPress eCommerce website for Bangladeshi visitor from Singapore location, but Dakhm is complicated therefore takes a bit longer time to run with all installed plugins. We optimized everything we can to keep the loading time of the website as lower as possible and check regularly. At a certain period, our website speed went up and loading very slowly, we asked cloudways support but got answers, so we tested the website on different staging and found out the cache plugin Breeze from cloudways was causing all the loading time, we deactivated the Breeze plugin provided by cloudways and installed wp optimize cache plugin and our loading time improved 5x, their plugin is very very easy to apply.
